Planning for your Wedding Day

Help in making those important decisions is at hand

You have found the partner you want to spend the rest of your life with and a proposal has been made and accepted.

A date has been set for the wedding.

The excitement grows, as together you pencil in the wedding guest list and eagerly anticipate the big day. You allow yourself to imagine the 'dream' setting for your marriage, followed by a romantic honeymoon in a far-off exotic location.

But now it’s time to shop around for those all important services, products and venues.

A decision has to be made, for example, where to exchange the wedding vows. Will the same venue also be used for the reception and evening party.

What mode of transport do you envisage taking the wedding party on the journey to the ceremony - and, if applicable, on to the reception.

Will a marquee be required. If so, how big and with what furnishings.

Oh, and maybe a mobile bar should be hired.

With these, and so many other decisions to consider, including booking a photographer and/or videographer, choosing a florist, selecting the wedding cake design and supplier, and making arrangements for that special wedding day make-over, you will be forgiven for feeling a little overwhelmed.

Fortunately, in today’s ‘technological’ climate you will find plenty of help on the internet.

You can also benefit from a friend or family member who has already ‘walked the walk’.

At County Bride we have put together some tips and advice which will hopefully answer some of your questions and assist you in making the right choices.
