Malmesbury Town Hall dates back, in parts, to 1846, with a history of uses that include a Wesleyan chapel, the town's fire station, court and assembly hall.

In recent years Malmesbury Town Hall has seen a £1.3m refurbishment to deliver what you see today, a vibrant and conveniently located building at the heart of beautiful Malmesbury. What better place then to celebrate the most important day of your life surrounded by those that you love.

We invite you to consider Malmesbury Town Hall as a venue for your Wedding or Civil Partnership ceremony and celebration.

Our facilities can comfortably accommodate intimate weddings from 20 guests up to a maximum of 150 guests within our large banqueting suite.

Our wedding and civil partnership package includes planning meetings with our events manager in the lead up to your ceremony and a front of house service for your day.  Our events manager can advise you as to local suppliers, the running order of the day, the wedding breakfast table lay out and seating plan.

Our events manager will put you in touch with our preferred suppliers as well as booking the registrar.

Also included within the package are the Wiltshire Council Registrar fees, tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, tablecloths and exclusive use of the first and second floors throughout the Town Hall from 9am on the day of your ceremony to 1am the following morning,

Also included is a complimentary glass of chilled sparkling wine or fruit juice to welcome up to 100 guests. Drinks can be served within the Town Hall or within Cloister Gardens behind Malmesbury Abbey, which also acts as a fabulous backdrop to Wedding photographs.

You are free to select whichever suppliers you wish to bring to the Town Hall. You may bring your own drinks and decoration. Malmesbury Town Hall offers a fully licensed venue, meaning you can offer your guests a pay bar should you choose. We do not charge a corkage fee nor do we levy any charges on your caterer or bar. All we ask is that a refundable bond of £300 is paid in advance against damage and breakages.
